The film is about a man whose life changes in the waiting area of a hospital gynecology outpatient department. The man, Hammarberg, is a rough and tough guy, an absolutely scary and ill-natured human being. He is accustomed to taking what he wants. Hammarberg is escorting his girlfriend to a hospital to have an abortion. Hammarberg sits in the waiting area. He scares the other customers away. A small boy wearing an ice hockey helmet bothers him with a floorball stick and ball. Hammarberg gets angry and decides to give the boy a lesson. However, Hammarberg turns out to be the one to have a lesson.
