A middle-aged man who's been exhausted with nursing his mother, Keiji. 

Because the factory he works has gone bankrupt, Keiji loses his job and at last he kills his beloved mother.  On the way he takes the body of his mother to her native place, he meets a young woman, Towako, who's been falling down at  the middle of a mountain road and their sorrowful and mysterious journey starts. Towako has lost all her memories of one period of time.  She looks for her disappeared family so intently and Keiji snuggles up to her. They draw closer to each other and Keiji sees the image of his mother in Towako. The body of Keiji's mother is loaded in the back of the car during their journey goes... The journey reaches an unexpected ending..... 

A Beautiful and heartrending theme song sinks into the scenes and greatly shakes the heart of audience.
